Brin was one of Dejah Thoris' trusted servants. She and Loo accompanied Dejah and her friends on an expedition to find out more about the Battle of Zodanga, but their ship needed to land due to technical difficulties. The group, aside from the pilot and Dejah's son, travelled to the nearest location, which was home to a large group of White Apes. Shortly after arriving at the location, the soldiers and guards were all torn apart, leaving Dejah, her servants and her friends as the only survivors. Some time later, Brin, and most of the others, were also killed, leaving Dejah as the only survivor.
