Transmutation

Werewolves can shift from a regular (often human) form to a werewolf form.

Transmutation is the ability to shift from one form to another. Users may also be able to shift into other forms, but they have limits on what they may shift into, usually 1-4 forms, including their normal form. This differs from Shapeshifting, as Shapeshifting has no, or very few, limits on the possibilities the user could shift into.

Some other powers and abilities can include forms of Transmutation, for example, Hydrokinesis, which could allow the user to transform into a water-like form.
