Synopsis for the 1st Story

Tired of surprise attacks from Deadites, Ash Williams takes the Necronomicon to a professor who he believes can release him from being "The Chosen One".

Notes

• Solicitations for this issue state that this story takes place six months after the events of the Army of Darkness film, though Ash later mentions to Professor Tuttle it's been years since he found the Necronomicon.
  

Trivia

• This comic was one of several Dynamite titles released in February, 2020 to feature a "Valentine's Day" variant cover. The cover itself is an homage to The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21.
• This issue also features an "Icon" variant cover, which recycles J. Scott Campbell's cover for Army of Darkness: Ashes 2 Ashes #1.
