History

Derrick is the owner of Red Hook Hardware in Red Hook, Brooklyn. He once caught someone dealing drugs out the front of his store, and after he had sent them away, someone showed up and tried to rob him for chasing away the dealer. He was recruited into The Shadow Network after The Shadow and Margo Forsythe fought the crooks and saved Derrick's life.
