Dracula assembled a team of heroes and villains to stop Kulan Gath from destroying the world. The team originally consisted of Dracula, Vampirella, Eva and Pantha, but Red Sonja later joined when she ended up in 2012 after chasing Gath through the ages. Initially, Sonja was thought to be on Kulan Gath's side until she explained and Dracula spared her. Shortly after, Herbert West arrives in the jungle via portal, and Eva finds him and delivers him to Dracula. Herbert then joins the team after revealing his intentions and the fact he was in possession of the Necronomicon.
