The Galactic Federation was a governing body that had colonies spread far and wide throughout the galaxy. The Federation's Galactic Patrol was tasked with maintaining law and order and protecting the Federation's citizenry, while incarcerated criminals were housed at Omegan Prison. However, many of the more distant colonies were seen as easy prey by space pirates. In reality, Robo Corp wielded a large amount of influence over the Federation.
