Galactic Patrol, commonly referred to by civilians as Space Patrol, is the official law-enforcement agency of the Galactic Federation. Their duties included protecting the federation's various colonies from space pirates as well as neutralizing local threats. Many of the criminals they apprehended became incarcerated at Omegan Prison. When Zorak escaped the prison and eventually seized control of the Hadron Collider at Grax-3, Space Patrol was dispatched to handle the situation, although it was ultimately instead resolved by the vigilante known as Space Ghost. While many Space Patrol's members appear to be law-abiding individuals who genuinely want to help the Federation's citizens, there were also corrupt individuals within the patrol such as Captains Brak and Sisto. Like many other facets of the Federation, Robo Corp also had an undue level of influence over Space Patrol.
