The Hand of Shiva was a red, almost crab-like glove worn by several different versions of Ashley Williams. The first known person to wear the glove was the Ash Williams of Earth-UU023. When the Ash of Earth-UU003 and his friend Ted arrived in Hell, they met the Ash of Earth-UU023. At some point shortly after this meeting of Ashes, it's implied that the Ash of Earth-UU003 killed the Ash of Earth-UU023 for the Hand of Shiva. When Ashley K. Williams arrived in Hell, she asked about the glove, and the Ash of Earth-UU003 said that it's previous owner had given it to him. Some time after the Ash of Earth-UU003 was killed by Ashley K. Williams, the Ash of Earth-818793 was in Hell, and discovered the skeletal remains of his counterpart from another universe, and still attached to him was the Hand of Shiva. The Ash of Earth-818793 then used it to kill Colonel Zoch and Montezuma. The Hand was last seen with the Ash of Earth-818793 when he arrived back in his native universe. It's current whereabouts are unknown.
