Jane Porter is the daughter of Professor Archimedes Q. Porter. She was once stranded in a Congolese jungle with her father, Esmeralda and Cecil Clayton. Jane was taken hostage along with the others by some mutineers, but eventually escaped before being confronted by a group of gorillas which had killed John Clayton 20 years prior. They were saved by a mysterious man which turned out to be Tarzan. Tarzan had ended up falling in love with Jane, but Jane was in a relationship with Cecil at the time.
Eventually, Jane married Tarzan and became Lady Greystroke. She has since became the supply officer of her husband and Jason Gridley's group of adventurers.
