Synopsis for "Pioneers"Edit
At Ericsson University, Kirby Freeman was studying, when Bobbi Cortez entered his dorm and insisted that he postpone his studying to come with her. Kirby told the readers the story of him and Bobbi and how they knew each other. As Bobbi continued to attempt to persuade Kirby, a flash of light covered the room and the two friends decided to investigate it together. They drove on the highway in Kirby's jeep and saw two titanic figures hovering in the sky. The two figures disappeared and later on, Kirby and Bobbi decided to stay at the residence of the latter's father. They saw on the news other the appearances of the superhero Silver Star and an underground city called Gazra, in addition to an individual known only as "Keltan." Japanese sailors were also reported to have discovered a new continent, in addition to a new specie. Aliens had arrived in Wyoming and Montana, while Kirby and Bobbi went to a museum and found the Sorcerer's Book. When Bobbi laid her hand on the book, she was transformed into an entity known as the Midnight Swan. Meanwhile, the Galactic Rangers had arrived on Earth.
