Le Fanu was a French woman during the Napoleonic era who was bitten by Dracula and thus became a Vampire. Centuries later, she ended up in Seattle at a nightclub called Carmilla, where she and other Vampires would prey on humans. After a fight against Dracula and Vampirella, she was killed by the Yag-Ath Vermellus, which possessed her at the time, after she failed to please it.
