Lights is currently married to Beau Bokan, the frontman of the metalcore band, Blessthefall. She is also a musician, and has worked with artists such as Blessthefall, Owl City, Keane and Bring Me The Horizon. She is also a huge fan of comics.

Lights begun working on comics in 2017 when she decided to create a comic series to lead into her next album.
