Mark Reid was at one point the current Green Hornet until his death when he and his Kato were led into a trap. Mark's death enraged his father, John Reid III, to the point where he almost killed the gangster responsible for Mark's death.
Mark's brother, Luke, later inherited the mantel of the Green Hornet years after Mark's death.
