Professor Utonium is a renowned scientist who lives in the city of Townsville. He once performed an experiment to create the perfect little girl using sugar, spice and everything nice as ingredients. However, he accidentally added Chemical X to the formula, resulting in the creation of the Powerpuff Girls: Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. He resolved to raise the girls as his own and helped them use their superpowers to thwart the forces of evil in Townsville.
