History[]
Richard Wentworth was a war hero who became a vigilante after he returned home to find that New York had been corrupted by crime.
He was once engaged to Nita Van Sloan, but when he was being sent on a black ops mission, he did not expect to return and thus he ended the engagement. Upon his return, he found that she had married Commissioner Stanley Kirkpatrick, one of Richard's closest friends. As he was still in love with her but knew they could not be together, he turned to alcoholism.

Custom Twin Colt M1911's - The Spider uses two Colt M1911's, which he had modified so that they included lasers which resembled spider webs.
