History[]
Sekhmet was once an ancient Egyptian deity who represented pestilence, warfare and destruction. But the violence and havoc she wreaked became so severe that she incurred the wrath of Ra, the sun god. Ra divided Sekhmet into several aspects and cursed them to roam the earth doing penance for eternity. The shapeshifting Pantha is the last of those aspects still living. She take the form of either a powerful panther or a beautiful woman. She has been described as a panther that turns into a woman, rather than the other way around. As such, she often takes refuge in zoos or circus sideshows, where she can spend most of her time in her beast form.
She has since become a friend and ally of Vampirella. Pantha was also included on a team put together by Dracula to stop Kulan Gath, which also included Eva, Vampirella, Red Sonja and a scientist named Herbert West. They later allied themselves with Athena.
