Sky was the pilot of the television crew which ended up crashing the plane in a jungle. He was also a part of a drug smuggling operation alongside Carole and TJ, who also worked for the TV company.
After his secret was discovered, he was going to kill Mike, but they were surrounded by Dirt People. One of the Dirt People threw a spear through his chest, killing him instantly.
