History

Dax with his wife and daughter

Following the death of his family, the man known as Dax created the masked vigilante persona of Space Ghost in order to prevent the death of other innocents. He discovered the young human siblings Jace and Jan moments after their father had been killed and rescued them from Brak and Sisto. He then took the children, and their cybernetically enhanced monkey, Blip. to his home base on the Ghost Planet, where he knew they would be safe. They eventually joined him on his adventures as his sidekicks.
