Steve Blute was one of the brothers of Sam Blute. Steve, and the rest of the Blute brothers, killed Sam in cold-blood when he married Jennifer Blute, as they believed he was too weak to lead their syndicate.
Years later, seeking revenge for her father's murder and her mother's suicide, Jessica Blute, now using the alias Jennifer Blood, handcuffed Steve and his wife, Renee Fox, to the boat they were on, before blowing a hole in the boat so it sank, drowning both Steve and Renee.
