History[]
Tansut is the leader of a band of space pirates which included Brago, Lurker, One-Eye, and possibly others. He led an attack against the Galactic Federation's Omicron space colony in hopes of collecting the bounty which Robo Corp was offering for Blip. During the assault, Tansut killed the colony's chief scientist, Dr. Jarrod Keplar, leaving his children Jace and Jan orphaned. Shortly after Dr. Keplar's death, Tansut's band was ambushed by the cosmic vigilante Space Ghost. Tansut's best efforts proved completely ineffectual against his opponent, and Space Ghost made quick work of the pirates before setting out to rescue the children from the corrupt Space Patrol officers Brak and Sisto.

While many villains had heard of Space Ghost before encountering him, Tansut seemed to be completely unaware of his existence and baffled by what he was.
