Synopsis for "I Tell You No Lie, G.I., Part 3"Edit
The Legend showed Hughie a radio he had obtained and overheard the Air Force talk about shooting a passenger jet that was suspected of being hijacked and left, while Homelander and the Boys were assigned to rescue another passenger jet, but were untrained to do so. Jack from Jupiter deserted the mission, while Homelander killed many of the passengers by merely yelling. The Deep punched open the window of the plane in an attempt to fight the hijackers, but caused air pressure to enter, as Homelander and Queen Maeve entered the pilot's cabin. Homelander, realizing that none of them knew how to fly, since Black Noir fell from the plane, so he decided to flee the plane, as Mister Marathon grabbed onto him. Homelander and Mister Marathon unsuccessfully attempted to balance the crashing plane, resulting in the latter's death and Queen Maeve fleeing. The plane crashed into the water in New York City. The Legend attributed the plane crash to the president Dakota Bob, who ordered it shot down on behalf of Vought-International.
