Third Earth is the planet that the ThunderCats immigrated to after their original home world, Thundera, was destroyed. Only a handful of ThunderCats completed the voyage, as the others were killed en route by the Mu'Tant natives of the planet Plun-Darr, who then pursued the survivors to their new home. Third Earth also had its own local Mu'Tant populations and had lingering remnants of an ancient civilization.
